Nishimura Rika is a Japanese national who was born in 1981. She is a nude gravure idol – Japanese models who primarily pose in bikinis, leotards, and other provocative clothing for photo spreads in magazines and photo books aimed largely at men. She is promoted by photographer the legendary Rikitake Yasushi who, even to this day enjoys the status of a legend and great popularity. Rika Nishimura has put together a nude photographic collection of 7 Volumes and 15 videos from 1993 to 1999.

She released nude photo books and videos as from 1993 to 1999. This collection included two volumes of the famous photo book series FRIENDS by Rikitake Yasushi.  In the year 2004, Pretty Girl of Legend – Nishimura Rika, was reprinted in May and, in December of the same year, she released a DVD compilation titled Rika, 22 years old – A goddess reincarnated.

Due to the restrictive nature of intellectual property law as concerning gravure idols rights, most of her photography is often spread over the Internet, appearing under names such as Ding, Erika, Fizuka, Fumiko, etc, under gross violations of these rights.

What surprises most people up and until now, is that Rika Nishimura’s real name still remains unknown.
